I was commissioned to paint several murals on columns at a local shopping center.
This is the first column that I painted.
Completed column mural. This photo shows all 3 sides.
Painted with exterior latex paint.
The sketch is my initial idea for the plant design on the column.
The photo on the right is the column that I was to paint.
First photo is the beginning of painting the column. I painted the purple background first. Next was the grass.
Second photo - I have progressed to the purple leaves.
Third photo - The stem and small purple grape like design is added.
